Day 5 (cont): Dim Sum Lunch + Livvy in the Park + Sinigang Dinner  so after the bum woke up, we went to this weirdly named place for dim sum   we over ordered btw   then we brought livvy along to pump gas  noob danny dunno how to do it himself  and then we brought livvy to the nearby park for walkies~      beautiful day~  lol livvy made friends with a dog 3x her size   and for dinner, we decided to cook Sinigang, which is a filipino soup thingy    pork is so damn bloody hard to cut    Day 6: Shopping + Kathi's arrival  Leftover sinigang and indomee for lunch. Livvy is a mutt  Briyani for dindins at the food court  an avocado slicer. wtf.  Belle's prezzie~ after we realised how horrible her knives were while trying to cut pork  my imba poker hand. we all in-ed and i had double pairs while danny had a flush after we opened the first 3 cards. the last card gave me a full house ^.^ Day 7: Belle's partay!   Livvy distracted with her bone while we went for lunch   2 days worth of shit for 5 pple      lunch again at the SG/M'sian restaurant. this time tze char style   and then it was off to the holiday house in Fremantle with Livvy         nice crib    preparing for the partay~    lol livvy likes it here too~  she's also apparently afraid of plastic bags =.=  fuss free dinner   the theme was quirky/queer and so livvy got a purple trashbag for her outfit  welcome sour apple shots      our own versions of queer  happy bday belle!  livvy apparently drinks beer o.o   and the customary cake messing up  only this time it was cupcakes Day 8: Freo + Clubbing  post party carnage      everywhere was closed by the time we woke up so all we had were pies for lunch =/    livvy's friend Oliver came over (his owners had to pick up their car)   livvy's bang bang       sights of freo!     freo market (with a public internet thingy lol)          so many funky things on sale       killing time at the arcade           sunset: time for dinner!            awesome seafood! (freo is a port town anyway)    Livvy does baibai and ballerina  ride the bus!  pre drinking and i'm red alr. (and loud. boomz!)   Jaegermeister shots!      scenes from "the court" - which has its own outdoor dance floor!      they played thriller!  me and kathi on stage! Day 9: Perth Royal Show!  post clubbing carnage    Beautiful day!      lunch in chinatown so we can buy liao for steamboat!               post lunch drive thru of King's Park. DAMN CHIOOOOO   livvy is so obsence oh dear    train ride to the showgrounds~  "school students should stand for adults" SG so should have this rule  macam King's Cross station                                                     Perth Royal Show!!!  on the way home to steamboat! (unfortunately we got busted by the conductor for not buying tix =.=)    ma la steamboat ftw!  danny's new helicopter toy which belle bought for him at the fair~ Day 10: Home (not so) Sweet Home  my last shot b4 leaving as you can tell, i don't have many pics towards the end. 'coz i was kinda depressed at having to leave and come back to work. perth was so good. i don't really wanna be back. sigh.

ookay since i'm waiting for that bum to wake up so we can go eat dim sum for lunch, i figured i might as well start posting some perth pics. to save me the trouble of uploading a gazillion pics when i get back. so here we go! Pre-flight:  da homies~ Mid flight:   sun rise in a plane is damn beautiful~ Day 1: R & R  dinner ('coz we slept thru lunch) @ an AUTHENTIC jap restaurant  ILL sushi huh. disturbing  damn amazing tang hoon appetizer. i wanted to just have a big plate of that for my mains  Agedashi tofuuu. i lurve  sushi & sashimi~   Day 2: Lazing around with DVDs  belle's front porch  Lunch @ some SG/Malaysian restaurant   my fucking AUD9.50 mee pok 0.0     view of the suburbs. kinda pretty huh    livvy in our bed~  oh i love this shit!    livvy go vroom vroom~   heh local McDonald's variant Day 3: Visiting Tua Ko + Blackout   tua ko and uncle john! i'd have taken more piccies but i didn't wanna scare 'em   dindins at a chinese buffet. notice the heap of prawns and mussels. such a SG thing to do  our house had a blackout (apparently these things happen often in Perth) so we had to use candles for the bathroom. kinda eerie eh?  so we all went to belle's friend's place to well, study.  Prof Terry will be so proud  dany's noob notes. that thing there is SUPPOSED to be a heart  totally~      we brought livvy along 'coz the poor dear was absolutely terrified in the dark.  jap lunch @ harbourtown where all the factory outlet stores were. i bought 2 tees for AUD30 for the sake of buying something lol     Indon dindins! these indons really know how to cook sigh Day 5:  like i said, waiting for that bum to wake up. that's it for now! stay tuned for part 2. which i prolly will upload once i'm back in SG. ugh blogger is just so weird. i've been meaning to update but i dunno why the javascript seems to like screw up on me. it's only occasionally working properly so now that it is, i shall post a lengthy combined one. Sat was keith's 22nd! and we started the night off at timbre @ substation:       $366 bill o.o    post timbre, pre clubbing!    getting started with plain ol' vodka  first, a flaming~   and then a waterfall for keith and audrey!  trying to act unaffected for the cam (but phail-ing)  caught bitching on cam.  trying to act macho while wiping away tears. wadda noob lol   lol we're all looking a tad drunk  something deviant was no doubt going on incidentally, it was also the one-year anniversary of our meeting (face-to-face that is) and keith sent me this old pic exactly one year ago at his bday (where we actually met for the first time):  i prefer my post army hair~ sigh how we've grown in just one year. it's so scary. i hate aging bah. haha so much nonsense in one year. can't wait for more rubbish to happen, which is inevitable considering how much of a bimbo he is. and in other news, my ipod nano has finally arrived! after like only 2 days since i ordered it on sunday. just in time for perthy! i always wanted an mp3 with radio functions so when the new nano came out with that AND a video camera, i was like omg i NEED that. now i can take surreptitious videos of disgusting entities that i encounter when out. a camera is KINDA obvious.        lol~  ain't she preeeeettyyyyyyy   i'm a happy boy~ OH and i also just got word that my torts test, originally scheduled to be in the week immediately after i return from perth, has been postponed to Oct. so now i can enjoy perth in relative peace. happy happy ^.^ oh and btw, for those who haven't seen it yet, check out Gaga's performance of Paparazzi at the 2009 MTV VMA: awesome would be SUCH an understatement. notice how she channels Princess Diana? (too bad about the stupid advertisement banner at the bottom) or according to THIS pic, she may have been channelling something else:  anyway, i can't find Beyonce's Single Ladies performance =( it was equally awesome. sigh too bad i'm missing her here in SG 'coz i'll be in perth and to borrow the words of Katy Perry, FUCK YOU KANYE WEST.

yawns. lately we've been going around during tutorials doing the mandatory introduction thingys and one of the questions that invariably come up is "why do you wanna do law?" and i've responded that i had absolutely no clue and was hoping to find out along the way.
and so i've been thinking to myself. why the hell am i here? and i've come to this conclusion: I like clothes. I like shoes. Basically I like material stuff. Material stuff unfortunately costs money. Nice material stuff costs a lot of money. Therefore, I need a lot of money to buy what I like. So I need a job that will pay me a lot of money. Since I can't be a doctor, a lawyer's the next best thing. sad huh? but truth be told, after reading all the cases (about decomposed snails in ginger beer bottles no less) and doing all the analysis, i don't really fancy being a lawyer. it sounds so boring. i suppose i'll need my law degree as a safety net - if all else fails, no choice be lawyer lor. anyone has any lobang for a job that's not so boring and pays a fucking lot of money?? on another tangential but reflective note, i've been reflecting on how i categorise pple i meet, esp like on the trains and buses, based on the reflex i get. in order of hot to trash: #1. CUM reflex #2. OOO reflex #3. W/E reflex #4. UGH reflex #5. GAG reflex ookay spot of random-ness over. time to head back to the SG cases now. blah.
